1. Controller

2. Data we collect
- Name, username and email address.
- A salted bcrypt hash of your PIN (we never store your PIN itself).
- Routine templates, task statuses and completion timestamps, notes and handover summaries.
- Web-push (Firebase Cloud Messaging) device tokens if you enable phone reminders.
- Sign-in session records, the date you accepted these policies, and messages you send through SimplAssistant.
3. Why and lawful basis (UK GDPR)
- Contract performance — to run your account, reminders, team sharing and handovers.
- Legitimate interest — to keep the service secure, prevent misuse, support operational continuity and understand beta usage (e.g. number of accounts and active users).
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
4. Who can see it
Your personal routines are visible only to you. Items in a team space are visible to that space's members. Our hosting and notification providers process data on our behalf under contract.
5. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account we erase it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
6. Your rights
You can request access, a copy (export), correction or erasure of your data, or object to processing, by emailing support@simplionex.com from your account email. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
